Private Lessons
We strive to provide the most effective and enjoyable training experience for you and your dog. T&D utilizes the most up-to-date animal training knowledge and humane techniques to help pet parents train their dogs in proper obedience! Through our selection of training programs, you will be able to build your dog’s confidence and enthusiasm to learn. A professional and certified trainer will teach both dogs and owners how to apply new skills through step-by-step instructions to resolve behavioral problems and build good habits from day one. It is our mission to help build strong relationships between humans and their dogs through fun and effective positive training. We will come to you, or meet you at the Training Facility at The Dog Lounge
Ala’ Cart Board & Train
This program is our version of “Doggie Boarding School” or “Dog Bootcamp” but we like to think of it more like a fun camp for your dog to learn how to be a well behaved, responsive and fun companion. As always, our methods are 100% force free, positive reinforcement and Concept based! Unlike other boarding and training programs out there, we will not put a prong or shock collar on your dog, EVER! We get results by teaching your dog what you’d like them to do and make those things what your dog wants to do! So not only is your furry friend a well-behaved pup, but they are loving every minute of it! It’s a win-win for dogs and their humans. During their stay at The Dog Lounge your Fur-baby will learn (on and off leash): Down, Sit, Recall, Stay, Heel, Switch, Middle, Boundaries, Proper Greetings, Socialization Skills, Grooming Manners, Confidence Skills (if needed), Calming Skills, and Problem-Solving Skills, and Introduction to Nose Work. All Board & Train Parents will receive a 1-hour training session, upon pet pick-up.
Adult Group Socialization Class
Group Basic Training and Socialization Classes are Perfect for the 6 Month and Older Fur Babies. In the 8 weekly classes with our AKC Certified Trainer, you and your Fur Baby will have a blast learning Down, Sit, Duration Stay, Recall, Leash Manners, Grooming Manners, and Behavior Problem Solving. We will show you how to be more to your dog than just the person on the other end of the leash. Classes will be located at our partner facility The Dog Lounge in Roachdale, IN 46172
3, 3, and 3 Plan
We provide a unique, Force Free Training model which involves smaller training groups, a high-touch model of care, and activity/enrichment focused schedule. With the 3, 3, and 3 Plan your Fur-baby will learn Down, Sit, Recall, Stay, Heel (on leash), Proper Greetings, Socialization Skills, Grooming Manners, Confidence Skills (if needed), Calming Skills, and Problem-Solving Skills. The first 3 sessions are at your home to prepare you and your pup for 3 Private Sessions at The Dog Lounge to then prepare for 3 Group Class Sessions
